The Split Horn: Life of a Hmong Shaman in America (20001, 57 mins. Directed by T. Siegel). This film chronicles the seventeen-year journey of a Hmong shaman and his family transplanted from the mountains of Laos to Appleton, Wisconsin. It shows what happens to the people of a culture when they move into a new environment and the importance of culture and community to the wellbeing of a person.
